Who we are
A Family Business.
Our story began in 1968 with a single bus and a simple vision.
Our founder, Pieter Bier, established the company with a passion for serving the local community by providing safe, reliable, and dependable transport. From those humble beginnings, what started as one bus soon grew into a respected family business built on honesty, hard work, and exceptional service.
Pieter believed that a bus was far more than just a vehicle. It was a lifeline connecting people with opportunities, a safe journey for school children, a dependable ride to work, and a way for families and communities to come together. Every passenger mattered, and every journey was treated with care and professionalism.
As the years passed, the business was proudly passed down through the generations—first to my father, and now to me. While our fleet has expanded and the transport industry has evolved, the values established by Pieter over five decades ago continue to guide everything we do.
Today, P Bier Buses remains a proudly family-owned business committed to providing professional, safe, and reliable passenger transport throughout South Africa. Whether transporting learners, employees, tourists, church groups, sports teams, or private groups, we continue to uphold the same principles of integrity, safety, punctuality, and outstanding customer service.
More than 55 years after our first journey, we remain dedicated to earning the trust of every customer who travels with us. Every trip we undertake reflects the legacy that began with one man, one bus, and a commitment to serving people.
